Join us for a new Recorded On-Demand training session.  This course is designed for hospital nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, cardiology, coders, billers, charge master managers (or hospital finance personal), technologists and physicians who provide cardiac PET services and are also responsible for administration and billing or charge description masters (CDM) activities.  This session is focused on current coding, coverage and payment policies specific for Cardiac PET services.  Hospital Outpatient Payment System (HOPPS) policy and rules are highlighted as well as proper charge master maintenance for Cardiac PET services.  Attendees will understand how charges on the charge master are used by Medicare in rate setting.  References and resources will be provided so the participants understand where the most current information and answers to important questions can be located.

The 34th Annual High Country

Nuclear Medicine Conference

March 1 - 6, 2013

High Country continues to attract and blend experts from academia and industry, with leaders in medical specialties, the regulatory agencies and health care researchers in an informal setting to facilitate dialog and an exchange of ideas.  The meeting consists of six (6) hours of structured meetings per day as well as mid-day, one-two hour, vendor-directed sessions, which will be new in 2013.  In between sessions, there are ample opportunities for independent meetings, networking and discussions.  The 2013 meeting, with anticipated attendance in excess of 130 participants, promises to open avenues and opportunities of collaboration on a variety of issues important to the nuclear medicine and molecular imaging community.
